Badger Motors and the Lucky Number 7

Lucky Number 7

Wow, seven years! I never comprehended how long I would be building vehicles when I started in 2019.  What seemed insurmountable at the time has become relatively commonplace now.  To say the least, I have learned a lot and still learning more.

What we started doing and what we still do is build vehicles, mostly bikes, that have classic looks and designs that you might find in RL.  With that in mind, the bikes have to work.

If it looks great and rides or drives like crap, what's the point?  Pricing matters too.  I build toys and if the toys you own, own you, what's the point? If I built it years ago, why am I still selling it?

Here's my principle to business, build and sell quality and keeping the finished product affordable.  This holds true for our retail vehicles and our customs and custom modifications. We keep building quality and keep quality affordable.  Finally, I keep my sales inventory fresh.  Sure there are some older vehicles you can still buy but for the most part, I mostly sell my latest creations instead of the old shit.

I'm not trying to change the industry, I'm just trying to build a business that makes sense to me as a customer.  Every builder does something different and my approach to this, is what I know works best for me and our customers.  Yeah my vehicles are modifiable.  Why, because when you buy a vehicle from me, it is no longer mine, it is yours.  So, make it yours.  The sculpture is yours.  Hell, I don't remember the names of what I build when they go into the vendors but I remember my customers.  Badger Motors is mine, what you buy from Badger Motors belongs to you.

For now, it has been 7 years and who knows how much longer I'll keep this business going.  I never though about it going on this long but it has.  I guess as long as I have the burning need to build and customers have a burning need to buy, I'll keep the fire lit.

Until then, a HUGE thank you to all of our customers, our group members, our friends, our MC and RC partners and our parts creators.  Okay, reflecting aside, there is more work to be accomplished and sadly, not nearly as much time as I had when I started.

Cop Roleplay?  We Have Your Fleet
Yeah we have the perfect vehicles for your roleplay needs and they are just getting better.  After a major rebuild of our police RP vehicles, we will be releasing and updating our prior models.

This rebuild includes better lighting, more adaptability for user customization, improved HUD controls and soon, our own mesh lighting.  We meshed the lightbar and wrote the scripting for light and siren controls.  If you are into the law enforcement RP scene, look to us for your fleet needs from modern to legacy.   You can have a fleet for L2,000, nobody in that industry is doing this and these are quality vehicles.

Our Inworld Locations

If you're testing a possible purchase, just want to come ride,  or bringing your MC, RC or some friends to ride, Badger Motors has a nice track from the ground up to about 2300M+.  Ride out requests are available at the landing.    You don't need a ride out request to ride, just ride!

If we sell it, you can use it on our tracks.  This means cars, bikes and trucks are welcome.  Be respectful of other riders.

There is a timed track at the first level so you can lay down some times and see your name in lights.  The boards are reset monthly.

Badger Motors is a neutral sim.  We play nice in the sand box with everyone and ask that you do the same when you visit. We keep our sim welcome to all who visit.  Sometimes things happen, if you encounter a problem, let "mikal brinner" or "lizzy nightfire" know.

Our sim rules are printed at the landing.  Badger Motors isn't only a place for business and tracks, it is our home and our refuge and still a private sim.  We just don't lock the doors. Thank you for being a welcomed guest when you're with us.

yes we know Cruiser is misspelled....I'm old
